When SewBizz owner Lisa gives you sewing advice, you know she is talking from experience.

Lisa has always loved to create and her passion for sewing started at an early age. She completed training as a Seamstress – Dressmaker in her late teens at the Melbourne College of Textiles, undertook studies in Patternmaking at RMIT, and has been further developing her skills with additional training throughout her years.

An experienced seamstress Lisa is dedicated to transforming your clothing with precision and care, making every piece feel like it was custom-made for you. Lisa has been developing sewing solutions for herself and clients for over 30 years.

Her passion for clothing extends beyond creating and altering to the end presentation. One of the reasons that Lisa is also trained as a professional Dry-cleaner and operated her own dry-cleaning business, is because she takes pride in delivering customers their garments back in pristine condition.

Whether you need a wedding dress alteration, tailored to perfection, adjustments for women’s, men’s, or children’s clothing, or intricate repairs, Lisa has you covered.

Lisa’s combination of both sewing and dry-cleaning skills allows her to give the best of both worlds to her clients from sewing solutions through to professional advice regarding fabric, care, construction, cleaning, maintenance, storage and handling.
